The cast reaches its maximal breadth and the battlefields fill with more units than ever, whole squadrons maneuvering in a single frame without legibility giving way. From Software polishes the thruster effects, the explosions and the scale of capital ships, offering the series its most accomplished visual showcase on PS2.
With the widest cast, the score gathers the greatest number of themes in the whole series. Each added machine brings its sonic signature, and the ending credits re-orchestrate several melodies into a suite saluting all the summoned universes.
