The central tool of the gaze is the Genesis scanner. This handheld device, raised in first person, reveals hidden items under a green veil and analyzes creatures to draw resources from them, forcing you to sweep every room with the beam before advancing. The game makes minute examination a visual mechanic: you scrutinize walls, corpses and corners, and survival depends first on what you take the time to look at.

Is Biohazard - Revelations - Unveiled Edition still worth playing in 2026?

An HD version of Capcom's survival horror, Biohazard Revelations Unveiled Edition reconnects with the series' dread and tense exploration aboard an infested ghost liner, blending resource management, puzzles and oppressive combat. The return to horror roots, the claustrophobic atmosphere and the unlockable Raid mode win over fans. Some traces of its handheld origin and an uneven pace weigh on it. A title for the Resident Evil faithful and fans of tense survival horror on PS3.
