Travellers Tales LEGO Bionicle FPS action. Mata Nui themed levels, six characters with different powers. Mediocre execution, repetitive gameplay, respected LEGO Bionicle atmosphere. Only for very young fans. No interest otherwise.

Is Bionicle Heroes still worth playing in 2026?

A second Bionicle outing on the console, Heroes swaps action adventure for a partly on rails third person shooter, where you blast hordes of Lego enemies while swapping heroes and powers. The pace is brisker and the destruction satisfying for a while, but the formula quickly turns repetitive and the challenge stays slight. The presentation is colorful but unremarkable. For Bionicle fans and young players, it offers an accessible, colorful outlet, more than a memorable adventure.
