Crytek bring their shooter to 360 with a streamlined nanosuit and a gorgeous post-apocalyptic New York. The tech impresses, the pacing is choppy, but Alcatraz still cuts a striking figure in that adaptive armour.

Lush jungles, devastated megacities and photorealistic light: the game pushed technical limits with stunning vegetation and effects. The density of the settings and the rendering of the light compose a cutting-edge realism. This visual ambition, polished and spectacular, long stood as a graphic showcase.
A first person shooter from Crytek, Crysis 2 moves the action to a devastated New York invaded by aliens, where the nanosuit lets you switch between invisibility, armour and power on the fly. This tactical freedom, the beauty of the ruined city and the snappy pace make it a spectacular FPS. The increased linearity compared to the first entry disappoints purists. An excellent game for fans of tactical shooting, science fiction and a technological spectacle still impressive on Xbox 360.
