de Blob sequel developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment and published by THQ in Europe in February 2011. Blob returns to free a new city and its inhabitants from the INKT's grip that has repainted it grey. New color powers and combos, larger outdoor and indoor levels, increased customization and two-player co-op mode. Even more vibrant visuals and more varied levels than the first episode.

The chromatic revolution resumes in finer form, broader and more varied, in a city to be freed from its imposed greyness. Larger levels and enriched paint effects extend the visual euphoria of the first game. This colourful generosity, thought out down to the smallest splash, is as seductive as ever.
Taking up its brilliant principle, the sequel enriches its interactive big band with even more generous funk, jazz and soul textures. Each colour laid down grows the music live, turning the cleanup into a living concert. This delightful sonic inventiveness extends the series' unique identity with brio.
European PAL pressing of the THQ sequel, distributed in the same end-of-the-line publisher context, which limited its support and continental print run. The European Wii version was distributed more discreetly than on the rival HD machines, the family console market already declining. Its collecting interest rests on this relative scarcity of the PAL run of a final entry from a studio that would disappear shortly after.

A sequel to Blue Tongue and THQ's colourful platformer, De Blob 2 carries over the joyful principle of repainting a grey city oppressed by an anti colour regime, adding two dimensional sections and a controllable companion. The reactive jazzy soundtrack, the dazzling art direction and the joy of seeing the world reborn in colour make all its charm. The gameplay stays repetitive over time. A generous, luminous platformer for families and fans of expressive visual worlds.
