Collector interest

Value is driven by genuine scarcity more than prestige: DemiKids Light is one of Atlus's quietest Westernized Megami Tensei spin-offs on GBA. Its 2003 US run was small, and the kid-friendly framing kept it off most Atlus fans' radar at launch. Splitting Light and Dark into separate carts, each with exclusive demons, doubles the hunt and sustains steady SMT-collector demand.

A questionable morality

Under its cheerful kid-friendly veneer, the adventure is mostly about building a little army of demons recruited along the way, then sending them off to pummel other demons in your stead. The hero saves the world with a smile while turning every creature he meets into a devoted pocket soldier: an interspecies friendship with a surprisingly martial payoff.
