Failed attempt to bring the legendary earthworm into 3D. Confused level design, finicky camera, sloppy controls, the original humour heavily watered down. A sad end for a brilliant 2D franchise. Skip it.

Description
3D platformer developed by VIS Interactive starring Shiny's heroic earthworm, published by Interplay and released in 1999 in Europe and North America. Six wacky worlds, multiple zany weapons, balance puzzles, oversized bosses and the series' signature cartoon humor.
Earthworm Jim 3D in its multilingual PAL form carries a poor reputation, its clumsy jump from 2D to 3D having buried the franchise. Pricing reflects no in-game merit but a thin late-1999 European print run as the N64 wound down. Sealed copies hold most of the value while loose carts stay modest, the classic profile of a late misfire that turned scarce by accident rather than design.
