A dazzling sequel that doubles down on multipliers and visual spectacle. Denser, faster, crazier: scoring becomes vertiginous and shmup joy turns absolute.

Description
Spaceships face bullet rain in this Capcom GigaWing 2 vertical shoot'em up demo. Published by Capcom, demo version. Vertical shoot'em up with bullet-capture and return mechanic, two playable pilots, retail display demo content.
The NTSC release of GigaWing 2 is the only Western release of Takumi's shmup, distributed by Capcom in an extremely short print. Very high collector value: one of the rarest boxed shmups on US Dreamcast, with the Takumi segment among the most prized in international scoring.
Is GigaWing 2 still worth playing in 2026?
A direct sequel to the first instalment, GigaWing 2 keeps the trademark Reflect system able to bounce every bullet on screen back at the source. Scores explode quickly and the pace remains insane, especially in two or three player co op. Visually more generous than its predecessor, the title cultivates a sometimes cluttered yet readable look once you settle in. For fans of festive vertical shooters and multi zero score chains, it retains an immediate effectiveness that is genuinely satisfying.
