The lively writing, humor and courtroom twists stay the heart of the fun, even if Phoenix Wright's absence from the lead role divides fans. The form remains that of a courtroom puzzle novel. An excellent entry point as much as an estimable sequel, to be savored by fans of narrative investigation games.
