The NTSC edition of the American sequel, still the easiest way to get this Joe & Mac on the flagship market. A common title with no short run, it turns up loose without effort, its value resting almost entirely on graded sealed copies or clean CIB with an unwarped cardboard box. A nostalgia object more than a rare one, worth targeting in fine condition rather than collecting for scarcity.

A more ambitious sequel that grafts a hub village, shopping and light adventure progression onto the prehistoric action. This structure binds the original arcade formula together and eases the first game's repetition. The colourful presentation and oversized bosses keep the series' cartoon tone. Today it appeals to anyone after a breezy platformer with a dash of management, meatier than its predecessors without aiming for the genre's peak.
