Gundam combat game pitting the Federation against Zeons in Mobile Suit battles. The combat system is deep and the complete roster of suits is appreciable. The enriched DX version offers more content. One of the best Gundam fighting games on PS2 for UC fans.

An expanded arcade board, this Gundam drops SD deformation for realistically scaled mobile suits, pitted two against two in 3D arenas. The visual relish lies in mobility: boost and dash propel the machines into lateral glides, while beam sabers and rays streak the enclosed space of combat. Federation against Zeon, the One Year War lives again not as a tactical fresco but as a nervy arena duel.

The mythic clash between the Federation and Zeon comes to life in mecha battles of exemplary readability. Choosing your mobile suit, juggling fire and melee and swooping on the enemy two-handed delivers an instant tactical thrill. Spectacular, accessible and packed with fan service, a robot versus that satisfies action fans and Gundam faithful alike.

Is Kidou Senshi Gundam - Renpou vs. Zeon DX still worth playing in 2026?

A console port of Capcom's arena fighting game, Renpou vs. Zeon DX pits the mobile suits of the Federation and Zeon in 3D team duels, where ranged fire, saber charges and cost gauge management form a demanding, snappy system. The faithfulness to the One Year War, the pace of the clashes and the co-op fun make it an arcade Gundam fighting reference. The language barrier reserves access for the initiated. A good fighting game for fans of Gundam and multiplayer mecha action.
