Project Snowblind is a punchy FPS with gleeful nano powers. Snappy action, lean story and a short but tight runtime. A pleasant surprise for fans of dirty shooting.

Description
A Crystal Dynamics and Eidos FPS released in 2005 (US, Europe, Australia), a spin-off of the Deus Ex franchise. Nathan Frost, a nanite-enhanced soldier, fights a terrorist army across futuristic Asian cities. Freedom of approach (stealth or assault), varied nanite equipment and a polished cyberpunk atmosphere. Underrated at release.

Is Project - Snowblind still worth playing in 2026?

A first person shooter from Crystal Dynamics, Project - Snowblind plunges the player into a cyberpunk military future where an augmented soldier uses implants granting superhuman powers, time slowing, shield or hacking, through snappy firefights blending action and special abilities. The snappiness of the action, the inventiveness of the cybernetic powers and the science fiction atmosphere appeal to FPS fans. The linear structure and a dated production bound the ambition. For a fan of action FPS or someone curious about cyberpunk, the title keeps a preserved snappiness and originality, in a dated edition.
