A Kemco rally outing for the 1999 season. Several stages on gravel, snow and tarmac, co-driver management and credible technical tuning. The visuals are held back by the platform and the content is modest next to the competition, but the driving is honest and the challenge fair for sliding fans.

Collector interest

Rally Challenge 2000 is a late SouthPeak Interactive rally title, released in September 2000 as the N64 was bowing out: its US run was therefore small, giving an end-of-life scarcity that props up its value far more than its qualities. A filler game with no underlying demand, its collection interest is limited to N64 catalogue completists and hunters of rare last-wave sealed copies.

Is Rally Challenge 2000 still worth playing in 2026?

A rally simulation from Kemco, Rally '99 offers special stages on dirt, snow and tarmac in the spirit of the season's championship, with grip management and demanding driving. The title aims at fans of technical driving, but suffers from a modest production and limited content against the genre's references on the console. The sense of slide stays decent. For a fan of retro rally or someone curious about overlooked N64 racers, the title keeps a niche interest, without rivalling the heavyweights.
