Pipeworks/Midway action, Rampage sequel. More playable monsters (35+), cities to destroy, arcade gameplay. Faithful to classic Rampage, three-player multi. Mediocre execution, repetitive gameplay. Pleasant for Rampage fans in quick multi.

Is Rampage - Total Destruction still worth playing in 2026?

An attempt to modernize Rampage in 3D, Total Destruction proves an outright misfire, as its very low period score confirms. Flattening cities as a giant monster amuses for five minutes, but clumsy controls, poor production and crushing repetition quickly kill the appeal. The local co-op mode barely stretches the fun among forgiving friends. Badly aged and lacking real depth, it's only worth the detour for a kaiju collector or someone curious about the franchise's decline, with little else to offer.
