Adaptation of the Robots animated film by Eurocom. Platforming and action for young players, film-faithful themed levels, basic gameplay. Mediocre execution, shaky framerate. Only for very young film fans.

Description
Tie-in based on the Blue Sky animated film Robots. Published by Vivendi Universal, released in March 2005. About ten 3D levels through Robot City, platforming and light combat with Rodney, mini-games and voice clips from the film. Worldwide release.
An adaptation of the animated film Robots, this Japanese release of a Western tie-in is above all an import curiosity. Like most film-licensed games, it suffers from a lukewarm reputation and slight play appeal. Its Japanese regional edition lends mild distinction for import completists, but demand stays thin and the value modest.
Is Robots still worth playing in 2026?
An adaptation of the Blue Sky animated film, this platformer ticks every box of the flavorless tie-in. The Robot City levels are generic, the handling approximate and the combat minimal, betraying a thin budget and ambition. The film voice work will briefly amuse younger players, but the title offers nothing other platformers of the era did far better. No reason to return today beyond pure curiosity.
