Rockman 6 Shijou Saidai no Tatakai!! (Mega Man 6) is the last NES series entry with Jet Mega Man and Power Mega Man. Eight robot masters from around the world. The end of an era offering an honorable conclusion to the NES saga, still demanding and satisfying.

Memorable bosses

The last 8-bit installment, this entry introduces the Rush adapters that turn the hero into a drill or a jet, opening new approaches against eight robot masters in national colors. Behind the mysterious Mr. X hides an old acquaintance. These transformations refresh how fights are tackled and carefully extend a formula the console was about to leave behind.

Is Rockman 6 - Shijou Saidai no Tatakai!! still worth playing in 2026?

A PlayStation port of the sixth and last 8 bit era Mega Man, this entry introduces the Rush adapters, which merge the hero with his robot dog for jet and devastating punch modes. The eight nationally themed Robot Masters, the detailed level design and the polished production bring the original classic series to a fine close. A certain routine to the formula and a few loadings weigh a little. A fine entry to recommend for fans of demanding action platforming and the faithful of Mega Man.
