Is Sonic Heroes still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2003, this Sega entry bets on teams of three characters swapped on the fly, each specialised in speed, power or flight. The four team structure extends the length and changes the feel from one run to the next. The pace stays fast and colourful, faithful to the hedgehog's spirit. The jittery camera, the level repetition across teams and a sometimes unfair difficulty weigh, yet fans of fast platforming and of Sonic find an energetic ride that still works in short sessions.
