Failed 3D platformer despite the fantasy setting. Stiff controls, fussy camera, weak level design. No reason to bother today next to Mario, Sonic and the genre's actual heavyweights.

Collector interest

An obscure and largely failed 3D platformer, Spirits & Spells is more a commercial flop than a coveted object. It turns up cheaply now and then, but with no demand to back it: its scarcity is endured rather than sought. No aura, no real nostalgia, no series cachet. Collector interest is close to nil beyond those chasing a strictly complete GameCube catalogue.
