Ubisoft brings Rainbow Six 3 to GameCube, tight squad tactics. Short demanding missions, decent AI and measured military staging. The pad fits less well than a keyboard but the spirit holds. A good tactical FPS on the machine, distinct in the library.

Is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2003, this Ubisoft entry brings counter terrorist simulation to GameCube, stressing planning, coordinated assault and the fragility of the operators. Preparing an entry point, synchronising a breach and advancing room by room builds tension at every instant. The care for tactical detail stays remarkable for the time. The absence of the voice command available elsewhere and a dated presentation show, yet fans of demanding tactical shooting and of Rainbow Six find a methodical experience still very gripping in focused sessions.
