Ubisoft Toronto deliver the last traditional Splinter Cell with a stealthy Sam Fisher and modernised staging. Co-op mode is superb, Spies vs. Mercs remains a genre classic, and the 360 receives here one of its very last large-scale tactical efforts from Ubisoft.

The return to pure stealth, shadow as an ally and the option to play ghost, panther or assault reward every approach. The mobile headquarters, the Paladin, and a rich co op mode flesh out the experience. The server shutdown limits the online side. But the campaign and the level design stay excellent. For fans of stealth and tactical shooting, this title keeps a strong appeal today.
