A rather polished Disney Toy Story adaptation, varied in its phases. Gorgeous for the console's twilight, lovely for Pixar fans.

Is Toy Story still worth playing in 2026?

A platformer drawn from the Pixar film, Toy Story moves Woody through varied levels inspired by the movie, with a few pseudo-3D sequences impressive for the machine. The faithful art direction, the careful animation and the variety of mechanics make it a quality licensed platformer, a technical showcase of the late-life Mega Drive. The difficulty is steep and some phases frustrating. A nice pick for fans of polished retro platforming and nostalgics of the first Toy Story.
