The winged hero crosses a world of flesh and mechanism: corridors of throbbing muscle, statues that come alive, bosses made of organs and gears intertwined. The imagery owes as much to gothic fantasy as to biomechanics, and the dark palette, dominated by browns and violets, reinforces the sense of descent.
The score bets on wide melodies carried by synthetic strings, giving the flight an almost lyrical dimension unexpected in this genre. The boss passages tip toward heavier rhythms, but the main theme always returns, like a thread pulled taut from one end of the journey to the other.
Complete: box, manual and disc/cart very clean. Lightly handled.
