Wii port of Call of Duty with pointer aiming. Decent feel, faithful campaign, online multi active back then. Visible technical compromises versus HD versions, but the Wii FPS experience remains one of the more solid on the console.

Is Call of Duty - World at War still worth playing in 2026?

A Wii port of Treyarch's FPS set during World War II, World at War transposes its brutal campaign in the Pacific and on the Eastern Front, with pointer aiming and a co-op mode. The rawness of the conflict, the intense pace and the presence of the founding Zombies mode left a mark on the console. The technical presentation behind the HD model and the server closure weigh. A solid FPS on Wii for fans of pointer shooting and historical war.
