Characters from dozens of different series meet on one screen, rendered in a cel-shading faithful to their animated adaptations, each keeping its line and recognizable poses. The pleasure is that of the improbable gathering: seeing side by side figures that should never have crossed paths.
The soundtrack runs on the energy of anime opening themes. Fast rhythms, catchy vocal melodies and nervous pop arrangements take up the spirit of the opening songs that made these series known, transposed into fight tracks.
