Famicom Mini Mario Bros. on GBA, the true original with pipes and turtles. Different from Super Mario, even more old-school. Precious for its historical value.

Collector interest

GBA reissue of Mario Bros. in the Famicom Mini collection, a look back at the 1983 arcade game that introduced Luigi and established the fraternal duo at the heart of the Mario universe. Its two-player cooperative mode and platform play area made it a pillar of period local multiplayer. Reissued in a faithful miniature box, it holds a founding place in the line. Its collecting interest rests on this role as the birth of the Mario and Luigi pair and on belonging to the anniversary series.

Is Famicom Mini 11 - Mario Bros. still worth playing in 2026?

A GBA reissue of the 1983 Mario Bros., this Famicom Mini brings back the single screen arcade game where Mario and Luigi clear turtles, crabs and flies by flipping them from below. The simple concept, built for two player co-op or rivalry, keeps an immediate tension and a cheeky pleasure. The repetition and the lack of progression betray its era, but the convivial charm remains. For a retro arcade fan, someone curious about the Mario duo's beginnings or a collector, the title keeps a direct fun, especially in twos.
