Fatal Inertia is an anti-gravity racer that openly chases Wipeout without ever catching it. Handling is heavy, the tracks lack identity and the whole thing reeks of an underbaked launch title. Skippable for most players.

Description
Futuristic racer with anti-gravity vehicles set in rugged natural terrain. Published by Koei in 2007 in Asia, Europe, Japan and the US. Twenty wilderness tracks, weaponised racing and local multiplayer. An attempt at a Wipeout-style ride on Xbox 360.
The Japanese and Asian version of Fatal Inertia, a Koei futuristic anti-gravity racer built on mounted weapons and rugged aerial tracks. Distributed elsewhere without marking the genre, the title here draws its singularity from this regional run on a region-locked console. Its interest lies in this local release of an ambitious but minor racing game, more than in intrinsic value.
