Kekkyoku Nankyoku Daibouken is a Japanese Konami Famicom adventure extending Antarctic Adventure with its penguin exploring the South Pole in climate puzzles. The representation alternates platform and themed puzzles on icy landscapes in a polished Japanese adventure formula. Without western release, curiosity for Famicom adventure fans in the 8 bit Konami production vein.

Collector interest

A Famicom action game from Asmik released in 1988, adapted from the Japanese film Antarctica by Koreyoshi Kurahara and the saga of the dog Taro on the ice, making it a Japanese film licence little known outside Japan. The title went commercially unnoticed and its value stays modest, the mark of a secondary publisher. Collecting interest is limited and rests mainly on the tie to a film with strong cultural resonance in Japan rather than acclaimed gameplay.
