A late-1997 release from Blizzard/Interplay, this sequel to The Lost Vikings hit the SNES during the console's twilight in the States: the reduced NTSC print run makes it markedly less common than the original. The Blizzard pedigree, co-op puzzle-platforming and end-of-generation timing feed steady demand. A clean complete cardboard-box copy commands a premium; even loose, the cart is already far from ubiquitous.

Is Lost Vikings 2 still worth playing in 2026?

A sequel to the puzzle-platformer by Silicon and Synapse, the future Blizzard, juggling three Vikings with complementary talents, joined here by new companions with fresh powers. Solving puzzles through character cooperation stays clever and satisfying, carried by good-natured humour. The additions energise an already excellent formula. A smart puzzle-platformer to rediscover with pleasure, solo or by passing the pad around.
