Conclusion of the Sands of Time trilogy, reconciling the first's spirit with the second's combat. The Dark Prince and his chain power is a satisfying mechanic. Good balance between platforming and combat. A worthy ending for an excellent trilogy.

Collector interest

Prince of Persia The Two Thrones, the conclusion of Ubisoft's Sands trilogy that brings the Prince back to Babylon and blends stealth, combat and acrobatics in an ambitious cycle ending. Still common, its collector interest rests on this status as the final piece of a beloved trilogy rather than scarcity. A valued piece for those completing the saga on the console, whose desirability rests on set coherence.

Is Prince of Persia - The Two Thrones still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2005, Ubisoft Montreal's third entry seeks a balance between the radiance of Sands of Time and the aggression of Warrior Within. The Speed Kill sequences, born from stealth assassination, bring a welcome edge, and the psychological duality between the Prince and his dark double gives real relief to the story. Babylon unfolds with elegant set design. A handful of chariot chase sequences and occasionally confused combat weigh against the package. Recommended today for Prince of Persia fans and for action platform devotees fond of Ubisoft Montreal's golden authorial run on the original Xbox.
