NTSC-U three-disc edition of Tales of Destiny II, known in Japan as Tales of Eternia, a spiritual sequel with refined real-time combat. The complete multi-disc set is hard to gather intact, pushing CIB and sealed value well above loose. Demand rests on the Tales series' strength and the scarcity of this late release on the American market.

Is Tales of Destiny II still worth playing in 2026?

Known as Tales of Eternia in Japan and Europe, this Namco RPG refines the Tales engine with smoother, more spectacular real time side view combat, carried by a trio of heroes crossing two worlds threatened with collision. The wealth of artes, the polished sprite animation and the snappy pace of the battles make it one of the series' peaks on the machine. The grinding and dated background 3D weigh little. An excellent JRPG for fans of dynamic combat and the Tales saga.
