An excellent open-world action game set in Middle-earth. The Nemesis system creates unique and memorable enemy encounters. Slightly downgraded visually on PS3 compared to other platforms, but still a quality experience overall.

Its great asset, the Nemesis system, generates unique orc captains that remember their clashes with the player, rise through the ranks and nurse personal vendettas, an idea of an originality that deeply marked the genre. The fluid Arkham-inspired combat and the exploration stay satisfying. The PS3 version shows technical limits against the other platforms. But the experience remains of quality, carried by a memorable and innovative gameplay mechanic.
