Is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon - Shadow Wars still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2011 on 3DS at the console's launch, Ubisoft's project, designed under the guidance of Julian Gollop, creator of X-COM, is a turn based tactical RPG surprisingly deep for a launch game. The command of a squad with complementary classes on grid maps, built on positioning, line of sight and overwatch fire, offers a strategy of remarkable rigour. The long campaign and the well measured difficulty reward thought. The plain production and the absence of multiplayer make themselves felt. An excellent tactical surprise, recommended for fans of demanding turn based strategy.
