Trauma Team changes the Trauma Center formula by following seven doctors with different specialties in a hospital drama. Surgery, diagnosis, first response, forensics, each specialty has its own gameplay with dedicated Wiimote control. TV-series-style episodic storytelling, plot thickens steadily. Tense, educational and surprisingly moving. Atlus knows how to tell a medical story beyond scalpel simulation. Series peak.

Collector interest

A medical drama by Atlus, Trauma Team multiplies disciplines, from surgery to diagnosis to forensics, in an acclaimed TV-series staging. Kept to North America and printed in low quantity, it has become a sought piece for fans. Its interest combines this singular narrative ambition and a very real physical scarcity.

An underrated gem

The peak of a little-known series, this medical sim spans six specialties, from the operating theatre to forensic investigation, in chapters staged like a TV drama. Niche by nature, it reached only a small audience. For fans of precise, high-tension gestures and human stories, it's a singular, gripping Atlus title to discover.

Is Trauma Team still worth playing in 2026?

Released in 2010 on Wii and known in Japan as Hospital. 6-nin no Ishi, Atlus' project extends the medical simulation series by multiplying the disciplines, from surgery to orthopedics by way of diagnosis and forensic investigation. Following six doctors of distinct specialties, each with their own gestures using the Wii pointer, offers rare variety and a real narrative sweep. The hospital drama staging and the tension of the operations deliver a singular intensity. The gesture precision requires good calibration. An atypical and striking simulation, recommended for fans of gesture games and of storytelling.
