Is Wizardry - Dimguil still worth playing in 2026?

A new Japanese entry in the Wizardry saga by Locus, Dimguil brings the first person dungeon crawler to PlayStation with modernised 3D while keeping the tile by tile exploration, party creation and turn based combat that founded the genre. The depth of the system, the constant danger and the satisfaction of mapping reward the methodical. The austerity and the Japan exclusivity close off access. A demanding crawler for fans of old school RPGs and Wizardry purists.
