RomWize works without account creation. We collect a minimal amount of data:
Contact form โ if you write to us, we receive the name, email address and message you enter, so that we can reply to you.
Language preference โ your language choice is stored in a technical session cookie, for the duration of your visit, to display the site correctly.
Technical data โ like any website, our host may log technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security and proper operation.
We never ask you for sensitive data and we do not sell any personal information.
2. Cookies
The site uses a strictly necessary session cookie to remember your language and ensure your browsing runs smoothly. This cookie is not used to track you and does not require your consent.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense). To fund the site, some pages display ads provided by Google AdSense. In this regard, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and/or other sites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to show you ads, including personalized ones where applicable.

4. Sharing and third-party services
We do not share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes. A few external services are nonetheless involved in the site's operation:
Reference price data โ estimates rely on public market data. This lookup happens server-side and transmits no information about you.
Price comparison & marketplaces โ when links to third-party sites (for example eBay) are offered to you, you are the one who chooses to go there; your browsing there is then governed by their own terms.
Advertising โ Google AdSense โ the site's ads are served by Google, which may place cookies and process certain data (cookie identifiers, IP address) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google's privacy policy. See also the Cookies section to turn off personalized advertising.
Email delivery & hosting โ contact form messages pass through our email delivery provider and our host, solely to route your request.
5. Retention period
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted or archived. The language cookie expires at the end of your session. Technical logs are kept for a limited period by our host.
6. Your rights
In accordance with applicable regulations (notably the GDPR in Europe), you have a right of access, rectification and erasure of the data you have provided to us, as well as a right to object. To exercise these rights, simply write to us via the Contact page.
7. Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect the information transmitted (anti-spam filtering on the form, restricted access to data). As no system is foolproof, we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit collection to what is strictly necessary to reduce risks.
8. Minors
RomWize is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us so that we can delete it.

This policy may change to reflect updates to the site or to regulations. The last-updated date, at the top of this page, indicates the version in force.
