Wii port of Call of Duty with pointer aiming. Decent feel, faithful campaign, online multi active back then. Visible technical compromises versus HD versions, but the Wii FPS experience remains one of the more solid on the console.

Treyarch makes fire the raw material of its imagery. Flamethrower bursts light the Pacific palm trees from below, the fires of Berlin tint the snow orange, and ash hangs in the air in almost every shot. The rest of the palette narrows down to mud, dried blood and coal grey, a long way from the blunt colours of the rest of the series.

Korean edition of the Activision war FPS, a local pressing of an adult-content title on a restricted Korean Wii market where mature-rated violent games were few. That combination of a low regional run and a mature rating makes it an uncommon local disc. Desirability rests on the scarcity of this Korean Call of Duty on Wii, sought by completists of the Korean catalog and fans of localized versions of a major franchise.

Is Call of Duty - World at War still worth playing in 2026?

A Wii port of Treyarch's FPS set during World War II, World at War transposes its brutal campaign in the Pacific and on the Eastern Front, with pointer aiming and a co-op mode. The rawness of the conflict, the intense pace and the presence of the founding Zombies mode left a mark on the console. The technical presentation behind the HD model and the server closure weigh. A solid FPS on Wii for fans of pointer shooting and historical war.
