3D action where you trample cities as a franchise kaiju. Heavy handling and bare-bones stages, but palpable tokusatsu nostalgia. For devoted Godzilla fans.

Is Godzilla Generations - Maximum Impact still worth playing in 2026?

A direct sequel to the first Godzilla outing on the console, Maximum Impact reprises the city destruction premise while adding a few kaiju and a little more variety. The fixes stay superficial, the action still repetitive and the camera uncooperative, even if the whole is slightly more substantial than its predecessor. The visuals show their age strongly. Like the first episode, it is mainly worth it for devotees of the monster and the curious who want to extend the experience, without expecting real depth of play.
