Is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six - Lockdown still worth playing in 2026?
Released in 2005, this Ubisoft entry tips the counter terrorist series towards more direct action, at the expense of part of the meticulous planning that was its mark. The firefights gain pace and readability, yet the tactical simulation spirit dilutes. The multiplayer mode extends the length a little. The change of course may disappoint the faithful attached to the rigour of the previous episodes, and fans of pure tactical shooting will mostly find a mainstream compromise, snappier but less demanding than the license promised.
