The pinnacle of the Zero series, with the V-System of three distinct gameplay modes and a colossal roster. Remarkably complete Saturn port with extra modes. Richest gameplay of the Alpha series. A versus fighting masterpiece on Saturn.

Original Japanese Saturn edition of Street Fighter Zero 3, distributed by Capcom in August 1999 as the machine was already winding down its catalogue, an exhaustive arcade conversion of the Alpha 3 roster with World Tour that requires the 4 MB RAM expansion cartridge. Capcom Japan run was particularly short at that late date, jewel case with intact obi, and the combination of the extremely small run, the absence of any PAL or US version and the complete Alpha 3 content makes it one of the Saturn Capcom Fighters grails. Complete with obi and 4 MB cart clearly among the most coveted pieces.

Better with friends

The culmination of the saga, where three play styles give everyone their own way to attack and manage their guard, across a colossal cast. The competition turns rich and personal: choosing your ISM already declares your philosophy to the opponent. Deep yet welcoming, it suits long versus evenings where you try the whole roster and rivalry sharpens match after match.

Is Street Fighter Zero 3 still worth playing in 2026?

An absolute peak of the Alpha saga by Capcom, Street Fighter Zero 3 offers three distinct isms (A for classic Alpha, X for Super II style and V for variable custom combos) that radically reshape the game. The most complete roster of the saga and strategic depth place the title among Capcom's very best 2D versus releases. On Saturn the RAM cartridge is essential for arcade faithfulness. For anyone fond of Street Fighter, an absolutely essential recommendation today still without any hesitation truly indeed here.
