John Romero's FPS, ported late to N64 in a heavily stripped form. Time-jumping across four eras, disastrous companion AI, dated mechanics. Romero's famous PR disaster; skip unless curious. The PC version is clearly preferable.
FPS conceived by John Romero and developed by Kemco and Ion Storm, published by Kemco in 2000 in Japan, Europe and North America. Four distinct eras from ancient Greece to the future, twenty-five futuristic or ancient weapons, AI-controlled allies and a four-player versus mode.

John Romero's Daikatana (N64) price, value & rarity
The Japanese version of John Romero's Daikatana on N64, published by Kemco. Far rarer than the Western releases, this maligned port had only a tiny domestic run, with Japan largely ignoring the late-life N64. Loose already trades well above the Europe price, a mark of that territorial scarcity. An import curiosity around a legendarily failed title, sought for the Japanese cart itself rather than the play.
