Tales of Rebirth pairs three-line Linear Motion Battle with a minority-themed plot. Deep combat, committed story and lovable cast. An underrated Tales outside Japan.

Following a band of heroes through a tale about prejudice unfolds a JRPG of line-based combat and a hearty story. Growing your characters, mastering the system and combing the skits fills dozens of hours. That density, true to the Tales series, earns the title a stubborn reputation as a generous action RPG.
Complete: box, manual and disc/cart very clean. Lightly handled.

Is Tales of Rebirth still worth playing in 2026?
An action RPG from Namco, Tales of Rebirth unrolls a narrative centred on tensions between two peoples, through a real time combat system on three depth lines that brings a real tactical dimension to the clashes. The maturity of the discourse on discrimination, the depth of the combat system and the quality of the writing win over genre fans. The untranslated Japan exclusivity closes off access. An excellent JRPG for fans of the Tales series and of tactical real time combat.
